The oil will form droplets in the vinegar and separate out due to their different densities. This is why dressing made with oil and vinegar often require shaking or stirring to combine the ingredients before use. If you mix water with both oil and vinegar, the oil will still separate from the vinegar and form droplets in the water. The water will not mix with the oil, but will mix with the vinegar to form a homogeneous mixture. This is because vinegar is an aqueous solution (i.e., a solution in water) while oil is not.

The process of DNA replication begins with the unwinding of the double helix structure of DNA.
